The short version

This site is unusually light on cookies, on purpose. Nothing non-essential is loaded until you say yes, and there are only two categories.

Strictly necessary

One local storage entry recording your cookie choice, plus an append-only log of when you made it. Without these we would have to ask you again on every page. There is no way to opt out of these and still use the site normally.

Analytics, optional, off until you allow it

If you allow it, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity measure which pages people use. IP addresses are anonymized. The scripts are not injected into the page at all until consent exists, so declining means they never load rather than loading and being ignored.

Things this site deliberately does not do

• No third-party review widget. Reviews are fetched when the site is built and rendered as plain HTML, so no review company sees your visit.
• No map embed until you ask for one. The map is a static picture with a button; Google only sees you if you press it.
• No advertising or retargeting pixels.

Changing your mind

Use the cookie settings button at any time. Withdrawing consent takes effect immediately on the next page load.
