DOT Inspections in Salina, Utah

An inspection is only useful if the shop can also fix what it finds. We do annual inspections on trucks and trailers and carry out the repairs in the same visit, so a unit does not have to be moved twice.

Rated 4.3 out of 5 stars from 19 reviews on Yelp.

What to expect

No surprises on the invoice. Here is the order it happens in.

  1. 01

    Book it before it expires

An expired sticker is an out-of-service risk, and out here that is an expensive place to be caught. Call ahead and we will put you in the book.

  2. 02

    Inspect

The full annual against the federal checklist, with everything found written down.

  3. 03

    Repair what failed

You get the list and the price before we touch anything, and you choose what happens next. Nothing gets fixed by assumption because it happened to be on the sheet.

  4. 04

    Sticker and paperwork

You leave with the certificate, the sticker and an itemized invoice.

For an owner-operator, the annual is a day that costs money twice, once for the inspection and once for whatever it turns up. The only thing a shop can do about that is be straight with you about what actually has to be fixed to pass and what is a recommendation you can plan for later. We separate those two lists on the invoice.
