Truck Parking & Trailer Drop Yard

Somewhere to leave the trailer while the tractor is in the shop, or while you sort out the next load.

Why it is useful here

Salina is a natural staging point. It is the junction of I-70 and US-89, it is the last full-service stop before a long empty run, and it is where a lot of trips get interrupted. A yard at that junction solves several different problems: a tractor is in the shop and the trailer needs to sit somewhere, a load has to wait for a slot, or a fleet wants equipment staged closer to the corridor than its own yard.

For fleets, this is usually part of a wider arrangement rather than a one-off, see fleets and commercial .
